I’m not sure how well I could pull off this style but lately I’m low key loving oxfords! I’ve had my eye on this platform style, because what 5 ft 3 inch girl wouldn’t want to be just a bit taller? 😉 I like how these are styled with cuffed or cropped jeans, I could also picture them with cropped jeans or trousers, or more dressed up with a dress or skirt. I love how Blair styled her oxfords – so classy with the blazer and midi skirt!
First and third images are from FSJ, I probably spent a good hour browsing their site including more oxfords and sandals (like wedding, beach, flat, etc). Middle image from good ol Nordstrom 🙂
As you may know, I love online boutiques. Online shopping is so convenient to shop from your own home and I’ve enjoyed finding boutiques via social media. Today, I’m spotlighting Roolee Boutique, which actually has a brick and mortar store in Northern Utah in addition to their large online presence. I look for shops that have items that fit my style, has modest options, and affordable. Here are a few of my favorite items:
Blush sweater and mustard skirt $40
Denim dress $58
Embroidered dress $71
Fringe bag $45
Pompeii maxi dress $50
Relaxed coal dress $43
Embroidered dress $60
I love finding non-chain boutiques because I enjoy the handpicked selections they offer, and the fact that a lot of them are also moms. The Rose Nest is an online, affordable shop I’ve been following for a while on Instagram. Fun fact: they are based in Cottonwood Heights (the suburb of Salt Lake City where Dave grew up)! Here are some of my favorite picks from their shop:
Midi dress (in multiple colors, I feel like this is the ‘it’ modest dress this summer)
Tie dye top (I’m loving that tie dye has come back for it’s moment)
Striped button back top
Striped pocket dress
Side split bootie (love this color!)
Pom pom blouse
Moto leggings (I’ve seen these in multiple colors and love the detail and length. Unfortunately haven’t found them in my size
Swing dress (this looks amazing for Texan summers)
Black buckle bootie
P.S. they offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders!

Freebird Collection is one of my recent favorites for affordable, tribal, boho clothing and accessories. I got this amazingly stylish and comfortable jacket and was actually ok with a colder spring this year in Utah so I could wear it!
I love their style – and check out the texture on the clutches, wow!
jacket (sold out) / black clutch / dress / white clutch / weekender
Summer inspiration – Spring has finally sprung here in Salt Lake and I’m ready to ditch my Sorels and Hunter wellies for some of these:
